Scooter and Moped Training
Pegasus Bike Training run various tailored courses to suit all age groups from 16year olds and upwards, from a 1day CBT course to a intensive or flexible course to gain your full motorcycle licence.
16 Year old riders - Unfortunately due to restrictions set
by the DVLA the only option for this age group is to complete the Compulsory
Basic Training Test (CBT). This will allow you to ride a 50cc automatic/geared
motorcycle with 'L' Plates clearly displayed until the age of 17. See
licence options.
At Pegasus
Bike Training we realise that you have had no formal rider/driver training.
Whilst
conducting
your compulsory
basic training we ensure that a high level of understanding is achieved prior
to the on-road riding phase. This will reassure both yourself and your parents
that have sufficient road sense prior to riding on the road. A minimum of 2hrs
road riding is compulsory however if required additional time will be allocated
accordingly at no additional cost. Training for this age group can only be
conducted on either a 50cc automatic or geared scooter.
17 Year old riders and above - After
completion of your CBT course iInitial training can be conducted on either a
125cc automatic or geared scooter towards your practical motorcycle test. This
can be done on either an intense or flexible basis.
